• Straw rope ( jute rope )

Let’s wrap the bowl we will use with cling film so that there is no gap.

Pour the glue into another mixing bowl. Let’s cut 12 pieces of straw yarns about 110 cm long.

Let’s wrap the ropes around our fingers to form a smooth roll. Let’s put the straw ropes into the glue. If the amount is less, we can add glue. Mix the threads so that there is glue on all sides, without tangling them.

Now wrap the glued threads we prepared randomly around the bowl we stretched.

The bowl should look good when we use 8-9 of the threads we prepared.

Let’s continue to wrap the remaining threads around the bowl.

Now let’s strengthen the bowl we prepared a little bit. Let’s apply extra glue to the ends of the threads and where you need them with our finger.

Let’s leave the prepared bowl to dry in the shade or at room temperature.

You can tell when it starts to dry by gently pressing the bowl with your fingertips and palms. If you leave it to dry for 1 night, the glue will dry and harden better.

After making sure that it is thoroughly dry, we can remove it from the bowl.

You can remove excess glue around the strings with scissors or nails. This work is a little time consuming, but when you see the result, it’s worth the effort.
